Pimp My Snug Ride?

As Xzibit says, "You've officially been pimped." Even though the result isn't as exciting as a plasma screen on the gas pedal or a new set of chrome rims worth more than the car, earlier this week we brought home the latest and greatest upgrade on the market. The Graco Easy Ride Travel System. Or something "catchy" like that to try and distract you from the fact that your vehicle will never be the same. Unlike the show, the baby induced "pimping" comes in phases. First the car seat and stroller. Then eventually the baby, i.e., the new stereo system, and finally once the stereo has graduated to solids, the new upholstery of Cheerios and fruit snacks.

Just the latest reminder of the fun we get to look forward to. We just heard Paisley say, "Thanks Grandma Ricks."

Don't forget the mandatory upgrade of adding a DVD player and multiple screens to your car to keep Paisley entertained on all those long drives to Utah! AND, if you can make them portable then they should work on the RV rides to whatever music festival we decide on from year to year!

We have one of those, but a different color. You are going to LOVE it!!! We were just thinking over the weekend how it's the best piece of baby furniture we own; we couldn't live without it. My favorite feature is that you can put the carseat on while baby is in it, facing it towards you. Then you can pull down both shades and keep baby totally protected, and still have a window to peek at her. Perfect if it's too sunny, or even too cold!

We have the exact same system for Giselle. It works splendidly. If you have more than one vehicle at home the only thing I would recommend is to get another base [for the car seat] for your second vehicle. And then take both cars down to the fire station or the hiway patrol and make sure it's all installed correctly. Even if you get it in right, they can most assuredly tighten it up and check to make sure there hasn't been any recalls on the products. They're really great about it. It's good to call ahead of time and see when they're available for an appointment.
