Baby Boy Ricks?

In case you haven't heard the news already, Paisley will soon be a big sister to this little guy.

Thanks to Brandi's "high risk" pregnancy status, we are seeing a specialist who happens to have a very fancy ultrasound machine. Hopefully, they're not charging us extra for these pictures.

And to answer your question... No, we will not be changing the name of our blog.

Okay, so this new one is not as creepy as the other one you showed me. Does that make up for it before?

Boys are so much fun, you guys will have a blast! And he's pretty close to Paisley's age so he will make a good bodyguard come Jr. High and High School.
What's with the "high risk" pregnancy though? I hope everything is ok, Brandi.

Yes, Cara, all is forgiven. I appreciate you saying that our baby looks *less* creepy in this picture. Ha.

Thanks to everyone else. Shannon, the high risk is the same as when I was pregnant with Paisley, so nothing new to us. There are two reasons: 1) I have hypothyroidism and take medication for that, which has potential to affect the baby, and 2) I also have a genetic clotting disorder called Factor V (5) Leiden which can increase the risk for miscarriage and stillbirths so they have me on a blood thinner that I get to inject into my stomach every day. Fun.

Congratulations! I'm so happy for all of you. He's going to be so much easier now you have all that experience with Paisley. I can't wait until you decide on a name. I guess until then I'll just have to call him "Grandson #10"
Love,
Grandma

I don't know how you do it. You're amazing.

So glad that you included the summary of the trip to D.C. I rather liked the hair cut, by the way. It is good to have your blog back on board. Great job! See you in a few days. Love, Granny Sue
